The hotel which is quite close to the SNCF rail station which is a positive for some and negative for most because
1. There are atleast 4 sex shops within 30 meters of the hotel and I don't need to explain the environment after dark...
2. The number of car parks the hotel offers is only 7 and hence if you want secure parking for your car -add another 20 euros to the cost of the room.
3. If you booked your room through internet and reached late on the day of your stay (for us it was Friday night), you run the risk of being told that you can't cancel the booking for the above stated reasons and that the decision if your card would be charged will only be taken by the manager who does not work from Friday night to Monday morning!
4. If you are lucky to be given a top floor room as it can be noisy on the lower floors, the pigeons living permanently on the roof can make it very hard for you to sleep after 6 AM.
Otherwise the quality of rooms and staff are not bad for a 3 star hotel.- 22-May-2007 The reception staff were invariably friendly and helpful.
We had a twin room and had requested a double, but the hotel was full, so there was no point complaining.
This room, 305, had minimal storage space and no drawers, so was not suitable for anything other than a 1 night stay.
The bathroom had been shoe-horned in. Fortunately we are of slim build, else it would have been even more challenging! It was not possible for me to turn round in the shower...Sitting on the toilet was possible, since one''s knees were in the shower! However, we believe other rooms are larger! Ours was certainly very clean. - 07-Sep-2005 |
