 In need of renovation as it looks a bit tired having been there since the mid sixties. The resort feel and gardens make for a pleasant retreat from the beachfront to the SW which is peasant to visit and where the restaurants are generally better than the hotel.- 24-May-2007 The "Grand Bali Beach" is not as grand as the
name implies. I would have to say that it
has seen better days. There is a great range
of facilities, but the food in the hotel's
many restaraunts was at best average and
everything from the beach chairs to the hotel
furniture and towels was old and worn. The air
conditioning system was not strong and I woke
up a few times sweating. If you want a big
hotel and don't mind the wear and tear, then
this is the place for you, but I'm certain there
