Considering that it had just had a re fit I would have expected better standards. Rooms were fine although they showed signs of poor finishing. TV's were impressive. Breakfasts were moderate-get down early if you don't wish to queue behind the coach parties. Bar staff and reception staff were friendly. Golf in the area is fantastic with plenty of eating asnd drinking places nearby.- 23-Aug-2008 We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is an excellent hotel with pool and gymnasium and is in a beautiful part of North West England. Well Worth a visit!- 29-May-2008 I was very surprised by this Hotel. I stayed in a standard room, which was small, but perfectly fitted out, the en suite was a good size, a good strong shower. The room decor was fantastic, although it appears that they are still decorating the halls. Bed was comfortable, wake up call on time. Breakfast the next morning, included in my room cost, wasn't bad, fairly simple, help yourself to sausage, egg, bacon, toast, cereal etc, but pretty good. It was very dark when I arrived, but on leaving the next morning I could see the wonderful location of the hotel itself, right on the sea front.
All in all, for the cost especially, I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a bed for a night or two on the Blackpool seafront.- 02-Mar-2008 |
