 The staff were friendly and had a good knowledge of the area recommending places to eat etc. We found the Spa well worth a visit - though guests need to pre-book into the Spa - charged at a 50% discount. We opted for room service breakfasts and the first morning it was delicious. However, we had to leave the hotel early the 2nd day and were told we couldn't have a hot breakfast until 7.30am but were offered an alternative 'Continental' - the rubbery 'almost toast' with marmalade, 2 packets of cereal, 1 pot of tea and no butter was a huge disappointment - having had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, it was not the lasting memory we expected!- 03-Oct-2008 Excellent genuine 4* hotel in the middle of Cork City. Great clean and comfortable room room, excellent breakfast. Hotel parking is 5 minute walk away but convenient enough.
Didn't try restaurant for dinner or spa facilities.
