This property is located on the front side of the World Trade Centre and to the rear side of the WTC apartments. Featuring an excellent central location, the hotel is actually attached to the convention centre itself.

 Books reported that the Ibis would be in the $80-$100 range...however, the cheapest that I was able to book at was $200/night, including breakfast. When you enter the lobby, the hotel looks ultra modern and contemporary. However, the room is quick to disappoint given its size -- the room, bathroom, closet, etc were very small by American standards (but probably right on par for Asia). No outlets near vanity or in bathroom for hair dryer so I ended up sitting by the window desk with no mirrow to work with. We requested a non-smoking room but every so often, smoke from adjacent rooms would flow into our room (through ducts?). Nice choice of food items for breakfast however it gets tiring after a few days of eating the same thing. Overall, if you're not interested in spending $$$ for one of the luxury Dubai properties, the Ibis will do just fine, especially if you can book for under $100/night.- 20-Feb-2008 This is only a 2* hotel because it has no room service, kettle in room or baths (all showers) but I found it a delightful oasis in a bustling area. I visited friends in grander hotels and they were crowded, noisy and some distance away from the venue - and very expensive.
The Ibis was clean, peaceful and right next to the Conference venue. At night I slept well in a comfortable, clean bed with good air conditioning, excellent blackout blinds and - no noise. Delightful friendly staff and many of my colleagues chose to come and eat at Cubo, their excellent Italian restaurant.
