When we initially arrived we were assigned a corner room on the ground floor which was noisy and cramped. When we spoke to the receptionist, they explained that they could not change us that night, but would do so the following morning. True to their word, we were moved into a 3rd floor king-size room the very next day. Overall, this is a typical cheap London hotel (so don't expect modern conveniences), but it does have excellent bed linen and fresh thick clean towels. The staff were extremely professional and courteous throughout, with particular mention for the late-night receptionist. Good value (provided you get a good room) and great location with Bayswater and Queensway tube stops located nearby.- 15-Apr-2008 some twin rooms are very small, special the bathroom.- 12-Apr-2008 Room is very narrow. The room which was allocated at arrival was dark and like prison because of its underground flour. We asked the exchange. The location is very close to metro and Hyde Park. Then, excellent and very convienent. - 28-Mar-2008 |
