 The hotel was well placed near Paddington station & the Paddington express from Heathrow airport. The staff were quite friendly. The entrance foyer was very nice but after that the passages & the room looked as if they needed a good clean up. Wall paper was peeling off the walls & the place looked 'shabby'. The room was a good size but the bathroom was extremely small & the tiles in the shower were quite dirty. Things like light globes in the reading lights in the room didn't work. No hairdryer in the room although one was supplied when asked for. The breakfast was very basic. With a bit of a clean up this could be quite a nice hotel. There didn't seem to be many other people in the hotel but we were put right down the end of a passage away from everyone & everything. May consider staying there again because of the convenience to Paddington station.- 04-Sep-2007 Rooms are somewhat small but this is to be expected in London.
