We stayed at the Hyatt for one week. Our room was a bit outdated. There were stains on the chairs and the bathroom needs to be renovated. The shower pressure wasn't good. The sink and bathtub looked old and grimey. The plus side of staying here are the pools and the reef. The hotel is laid out very nicely. The view is just beautiful! We enjoyed the Lazy River pool and the slide. However, there were many children at the pool who were not supervised. They were mostly Russians and Brits. Some of the children were jumping into the shallow pool from the bridge. Quite dangerous considering people were swimming under the bridge and these children were not looking when they jumped. There needs to be rules at the pool before someone sustains injuries. The buffet breakfast was good. There were plenty of choices and fresh fruit daily. We would stay here again. Overall, we enjoyed outselves very much.- 12-Apr-2009 AC was too cold, problem with shower plumbing- 21-Jan-2009 Pools and setting were lovely. Food was good. Very relaxing - didn't feel overly full when we were there (maybe because a number of accommodation blocks were being renovated). Wonderful snorkelling straight from the shore. Would recommend to friends wanting to relax for a few days.- 27-Oct-2008 |
