We spent our days at the water playground with awesome pools and slides, and the 24-hour waterfront health club was super cool. The full-service marina had jet skis and kayaks - we felt like total adventurers! The lush tropical gardens were rad, we chilled out there and felt like we were in a tropical paradise.

The only thing that would make this even more epic for young party-goers like us would be to have a hip outdoor party area with DJ music and games.

The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina provided a delightful stay for my family of four. The quadruple suite we booked was spacious, with a breathtaking view and a charming balcony. The room was serviced to the standard expected from a reputable hotel, with all the necessary amenities and decor that exuded warmth and comfort. The three pools and water slides offered endless entertainment for the kids, and the on-site restaurant served tasty local fare.

The pricey parking, costing $42 for both self and valet parking. Considering the distance from downtown and the additional resort fees, the parking cost seemed excessive.

We definitely got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and offered beautiful views of the marina. The location was perfect, with a nice nearby boardwalk and a balcony overlooking the pool where we could see families having a blast on the slides. The staff, especially the concierge, were incredibly helpful, kind, and full of knowledge about the area.

As a frequent traveler, I often stay at hotels for transit during my journeys, and the convenience of Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina being just 10 km away from San Diego International Airport was a major plus. The hotel's close proximity to SeaWorld San Diego and Old Town San Diego State Historic Park also made it an ideal location for exploring the city.

As the main reason for choosing this hotel was the pool and water slides, this was a disappointment.

Liked/Best aspects: Had a wonderful Christmas stay at this hotel. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the marina and offering a straight shot out to the water. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the key location of the hotel, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. The restaurant on-site had great service and we enjoyed listening to the live music by the fire while feeling the warm breeze.

Disliked/Worst aspects: However, there were a couple of downsides to our stay.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel during the Labor Day weekend. The location in the harbor area was fantastic, with direct access to the beautiful harbor. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities were top-notch. The staff was exceptional, providing friendly and helpful service. The breakfast offered was delicious and satisfying.

We had a great stay at the resort and enjoyed the pool and water slides with our kids. The staff was friendly and the corner king suite we stayed in was spacious. The location of the hotel was beautiful, overlooking the marina, and we loved spending time on the balcony watching the boats and sea lions. The people working at the resort, from the valet staff to the wait staff in the restaurant, were extremely helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

The breakfast @ the Red Marlin was amazing. The pools and slides were fantastic! Your valet and bell staff were excellent! The pelican food and drinks were outstanding. The activities were so much fun for our kids. Very family friendly!!! Excellent location near Mission Bay and Beach - just a short walk to Belmont Park.

The free use of kayaks and paddleboards was a nice perk. The location near the water and a nearby roller coaster made it a fun spot. The pools were fantastic!

The noise from the elevators next to our room was disruptive and made it hard to sleep at night. the daily parking fee felt steep and should have been included in our stay.
