 Easy hotel for a one night stay. Extremely handy for the Chamartin train station as it is almost in the station itself.- 24-Oct-2009 For us initially the main attraction was the proximity of the hotel to tired arriving passengers by rail. Chamartin is also an excellent starting point for Metro or Cercanias (local rail) to any part of Madrid. The hotel is a little austere lacking an additional all hours restaurant. The main restaurant does not open until 8.30 pm, OK for Spaniards but not for others with different lifestyle requirements.
Otherwise this is a good to very good hotel in almost all other respects. I liked the shoe polisher on each floor.- 18-Oct-2009 Definetly not a 4 stars hotel. The rooms are very old, poorly lighted, noisy. The bathroom is very small and the bath/shower seems to be 20 or 30 years old...
The location is superb, very near everything in North Madrid, just over the metro and train station (Chamartin).
