The Hotel's location is rather remote but serene; in a rural village - as honestly stated in the Hotel's brochure. A first time visitor to Amsterdam that has business or other interests in the City may find this location a challenge. However, at day time, public transport connections are good and the Hotel staff were eager to explain how one could around. I found the staff friendly, considerate and helpful. - 26-Apr-2008 I enjoyed my 10 day stay. The staff took care of the family in all manners required. The hotel is in a quite town wich was great. Had Internet access a the hotel, since this is the only way I could talk to home. Rooms are small but cozy, but that's all you need if your on vactio n and travlling around the area.- 27-Jul-2007 Everything in the room was very clean, but the reception area and corridors didn't look all that neat to say the least, and smelt of smoke all the time. The staff were friendly, but the phone in the room didn't work, light bulb was out etc...and there was much to be desired in terms of services. In terms of location, the hotel is actually not in Amsterdam. For guests who have hired cars, it would be an okay place to stay, but if you want to use public transport, I suggest staying in the city rather than checking into a hotel in the outskirts. But the village the hotel is located in is quite pleasant.- 18-Jul-2007 |
