Very easy to get to from Kayabacho station. Staff speaks English. Breakfast was good value at 840Yen when booked at check-in.

If you want a budget experience in Tokyo, but a notch above hostels, then I highly recommend staying at a "business hotel." Hotel Universe is a great one -- close to the Tokyo City Air Terminal (which has bus service to Narita Airport). it is on the south east part of Tokyo, right by Ginza. There's a subway stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel is a great example of Japanese economy -- the rooms are TINY, but efficiently laid out. The bathroom is actually uni-body construction from one piece of plastic. It isn't luxurious, but it really has all you need for a safe, clean place to call home during your stay in Tokyo. I've stayed there twice now and would go back again.
