 Felt like a Paris boutique hotel! The staff were wonderful and so accommodating and helpful. I loved the convenience of the location on Powell. We had a room on the southside of the hotel so the noise level from the action on Powell Street was very tolerable. The hotel has a lot of character in its design, rooms are not the largest - more of what you'd expect in Europe - but very comfortable. Well appointed and clean. The beds were quite comfortable and we had great closet space. There was complimentary coffee and tea every morning on the second floor! I will definitely stay here on future trips, it was a very pleasant experience!- 24-Jul-2005 The hotel was situated right on Union Square, very central. When we arrived we were put into a very old room, so we asked to be moved. The receptionist gave us a new room which was much better and brighter. We were happy with our stay and the price we paid. - 20-Oct-2004 The hotel was a perfect location for public transportation, we used the trolleys and cable cars.
The hotel was very nice, clean, hot tea and coffee available all day was really a nice touch when we got back to the room when it was cold outside. Each room had an iron & ironing board. The staff was excellent with everything. I will be returning to this hotel. - 20-Jul-2004 |
