 Close to Central Railway which suited us as we travelled to Sydney by train. Shops and public transport very close. - 05-Apr-2008 This was an excellent choice for the price. I was worried the accommodation would be sub-par, but was pleasantly surprised. Nothing fancy, but the place was clean. Staff was very helpful. Since we arrived about 8 am, we were able to leave our luggage in a locked room til check-in. We were put on the top floor to reduce noise as there are many college students rooming there. There is a pool and weight room on premises. It is near lots of restaurants and bus stops. We took a bus to Circular Quay twice and took in the atmosphere. Went on a tour of the Opera House--a must-see. There is a microwave, sink, small fridge, some dishes and flatware, coffee set up, some welcoming "biscuits" and a private bathroom. We chose the 2 twin bed room and it worked out well. Within walking distance of Powerhouse Museum--another must-see. Highly recommended.- 14-Mar-2008 - i will probably consider going elsewhere in future. the cleaners were very noisy banging doors and cupboards when they were cleaning up, when we clearly have a sign saying do not disturb when we were sleeping
- the reception staff seem to be unsure of what to do, asking me for a deposit and took my money without giving me a receipt
