 Room smelled of cigarette smoke--the only real drawback to this hotel. Staff was good; breakfast was reasonably priced. An easy walk to the Shin-Osaka train station, which provides easy access to Kyoto.- 12-Apr-2009 Lobby was under renovation. I believe the restaurant was closed pretty much the whole time I was there. Very close to the ShinOsaka station so convenient location. Nothing much to see around this place. Rooms were pretty good size given everything is small in Japan. Overall it was a clean, pleasant stay. The check in guy was nice and professional! I'd stay here again!- 27-Feb-2009 Small, slightly dusty rooms with no fantastic facilities to speak of. Staff spoke some English and were eager to please. A restaurant and vending machines are on the ground floor.
However, excellent location (literally a 5-minute walk from Shin'Osaka Station), which makes this hotel exceptionally convenient for those looking to use the hotel as a base and taking trains to other locations (eg. Kyoto, Himeji, Nara).- 04-Jan-2009 |
