I booked three twin /single bed rooms for one week at the Crowne Plaza Metropolitan to accomodate my family and friends. The rooms were spacious, cleaned well each day and hotel service excellent. We were there to attend the Karate World Championships so the hotel was very full and yet the staff were all very polite, pleasant and happy to help you with the countless questions we had regarding venues, currency, trains etc. There were plenty of shops nearby, from convenience stores to department stores, plenty of restaurants to choose from and easy walking distance to Ikebukuro Station. We had a great holiday. A little expensive, but can highly recommend the hotel as it was worth the extra dollars.
