We stayed 4 nights in this HOTEL. The Hotel provides the minimun facilities in order to pass your vacation in Rome. The rooms was so and so, but the matress of the bed was perfect! About the breakfast, it is a buffet-style breakfast. In my opinion, comparing with other hotels, the buffet-breakfast could be better about the variety and quanlity of the products. Nevertheless, the HOTEL KING ROME has the perfect LOCATION considering that we were in the centre of Rome and we didn't use the Metro because we had only to walk 5-10 min in orderr to visit Piazza di Spagna, Pantheon, Fontana di Treve, the shopping centre and other attractions. Think about that we came back on foot from Colloseum!!!(about 20min walk). Finally, the Metro Station is just few seconds near by the Hotel.- 13-Sep-2007 I had read some reviews about this hotel before our trip and a common negative theme was the hotel needed some updates which is true. We noticed the room next to us had been updated. Apparantly this is a "work in progress". Other than that, the hotel was in an excellent location and the staff were extremely helpful!! I would definitely recommend this hotel and maybe your room will be updated by the time you get there....which was not a hinderence for us since we were only in it to sleep. - 11-Jun-2007 The Hotel King was in very bad condition. It was untidy (almost filthy), old and it looked like it hasnīt been renovated since the 80īs. In our room there were stains on the wall-to-wall carpet and on the walls. The bath tub was stale and there was some filth on the shower handle and the soap rack. The overall impression of the room was dark and dirty. The hotel was as a whole totally worn-out and altogether terrible. The only good thing was the location and the service wasnīt that bad either, the staff was quite helpfull. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody and I think it shouldnīt be on the market at all and it definitely shouldnīt be rated as a three-star hotel because it was barely a one-star hotel. You can truely get a lot better hotel with the same price which was really, really expensive. - 16-May-2007 |
