Overall, the hotel was quite good, walking distance to southern cross railway station and DFO. That area of the street seemed to be a bit run down, especially having to walk past bins and rubbish out in little bourke street wasn't nice. Didn't feel all that safe after dark walking up the street. Room was good, all amenities worked and were clean; room size satisfactory for staying 1-2 nights; trouble with remote to TV at times. Staff very friendly and helpful.- 28-May-2008 The hotel was excellent value for money, good facilities. Good location.- 15-Sep-2005 This is not a luxurious hotel but was clean, modern and functional inside. The room was quite small (no space for an arm chair or coffee table just a small desk & chair). It was fine for one person. I wouldn''t want to share. No restaurant or room service after 10:00 a.m. (i.e. breakfast only) except for vending machines on each floor. Situated down a dull side street on the edge of the CBD. Had to leave my bags at the hotel on my last day before getting an evening flight home. I resented having to pay for a self-service security locker.- 07-Sep-2005 |
