Room rather small for two beds ... rather cramped.- 06-Nov-2009 Twin beds great--but two doubles crowd the room a bit.
a couple of drawers would make a difference. Otherwise good valuecand a well run establishment- 28-Oct-2009 This was my third visit but first posting for this hotel. This hotel sits behind the Christchurch cathedral Square which is right in the middle of the CBD. The staff on arrival are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The same applies at checkout. The room is clean and modern and I always get a good night sleep there. My only gripe is the parking situation. It is $20 overnight to park adjacent to the Ibis or $18 at cashel street car park which is about a 5 minute walk away. There has never been car parks available for me at the hotel on all 3 occassions and I actually take the risk of parking out on the street which has been ok thus far as long as you are parked after 530pm and move before 8am the following morning. I havent eaten at the Ibis but heard from a colleague that the restaurant provides reasonably tasty meals. I will definitely go back again.- 29-Sep-2009 |
