 Not the best hotel in Budapest, but I have stayed there a couple of times and it is clean and has a good breakfast and is good value for money- 16-Nov-2006 Barely makes the four star category in terms of room quality, but clean and comfortable. Good front of house staff, but breakfast staff in a hurry to clear buffet at breakfast time -- not good for leisurely breakfast or business breakfast. Bar prices expensive, and also a reluctance to serve you late at night, i.e. after 11.30. Good for tourists, close to the baths in city park as well as the zoo and heroe's square. If you are out and about in the city centre, you need a taxi to get home at night when metro closes at 11.15, a little too far for walking from city centre.
Don't use the "hotel car" to get to the airport or anywhere else. They actually call a taxi company which is quite expensive, smacks of a cosy arrangement either with staff or with the hotel.
