 Our stay at the Hotel Grand Chancellor was very enjoyable. Counter staff were very helpful and courteous. We asked assistance on places to go etc and they were knowledgable and resourceful. Room was well kept and stocked, room service meal was really tasty and service prompt. I would recommend this accommodation as being central to cbd, restaurants, etc, with nice views and really good service.- 25-Jul-2008 Bath room could do with a bit of an update. Otherwise I found the Hotel Grand Chancellor to be very good - staff were excellent and very helpful.- 19-May-2008 The receptionists and staff generally were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was quite, comfortable and a good size. The balcony from a higher level had good views over the city was small but adequate. The bathroom was a bit on the small size. It was an easy 20 min walk to the Mall in the centre of the town and a little uphill on your return. The breakfast for $21 ea was good. The Roma Street parkland opposite the hotel was excellent and well worth a visit. Would definitely return to this hotel. - 10-Apr-2008 |
