 I have stayed at many hotels in the West LA area through the years. This is my first time staying at the Hotel Erwin and it was simply wonderful! The patrons were all European or hip Americans who were looking for a chic, retro modern hotel right in the heart of Venice Beach and right on the ocean and Boardwalk. The remodeling job on this old hotel is outstanding and the location is better than anywhere else, if you are looking for the hippy/happening places nearby in Venice. Good value for the price!
