 The reason i stayed at the Equatorial Bangi was i had to work in the area, but the hotel is superb, easily the best i've stayed in for a business trip. The pool area is great and the restaurants great too. Not really close to much, there is a shopping centre within walking distance but a good 1/2 hou to the city.- 28-Oct-2007 I enjoyed staying at Eq Bangi. By arrival as the rooms were not ready, we were offered a free drink. The food facilities are excellent and the swimming pool and golf course are great. The disadvantage is that the hotel is quite isolated from other shops or facilities.- 05-Jan-2006 This hotel in Bangi is very classical. It gave me the feelings that I was living in early 40s. However, the facilities of the hotel were a bite disappointing. 1. They have no star sport TV in my room so that I cannot watch US open!! 2. There are only two tennis courts. 3. I have no bath towels at the moment when I go into my room. I''ve to call house keeping by phone! 4. The shower was not working in my room.
All these stuffs seems immaterial but it reflects that the hotel is not well-maintained.
On the other hand, I have to say the shuttle bus services from bangi to KL is wonderful for the visitors. You have to understand that Bangi is far from KL. You need to take at least a half hour drive from hotel to major shopping and sight-seeing area in KL. Generally speaking, this hotel in Bangi is acceptable but it should be 4.5 stars only. - 07-Sep-2005 |
