 The hotel room was very pleasantly decorated in a modern style and was generally spacious and comfortable, although the bathroom was a little small. The location is a very short walk from the centre of town, but not so close that it is noisy. We did not use the pool - it seemed quite small and was located quite near to the road, so not v.tranquil, but not sure there was much of an alternative, given the location. My guidebook stated that there was a gymnasium on site, which there was not. Overall, a very good stay and would reccomend the hotel to others.- 11-Apr-2008 The room we had was on the corner of the hotel and a major road, so in the middle of the night you would hear rather noisy guests/street walkers. Did not serve lunch but otherwise, with a quite room, a very nice place to stay.- 11-Jan-2007 We got a bargain special offer which included a really good breakfast, and were amazed by the hotel's location - just a minute or two's walk to the Esplanade. The pool and jacuzzi were small but we got them all to ourselves on the second day - although we weren't impressed by the fact that we weren't allowed to take our drinks by the pool and had to go into the restaurant area to drink. Room decor and service were really good, and we've recently recommended the hotel to a friend as we were so impressed.- 23-Oct-2006 |
