I only stayed a few hours in this hotel - arrived very late at night and got up early to catch the Eurostar from Gare de Nord back to England. The location is not very near Gare de Nord as I was led to believe! It is 20 minutes walking distance from the railway station or two underground stations if you take the metro - a bit awkard if you have heavy suitcases. Apart from that, everything was fine.
Manuel J Mac Lennan- 18-Mar-2009 Awful hotel room. Paper thin walls. You can hear every toilet flush, and (in my case) get driven mad by the lift (which the room was next to). The breakfast was the worst breakfast I have eaten in France (I live here, so have a lot of experience!). The staff were very helpful and pleasant, but this did not counter the awfulness of the total experience. And oh yes, they DO have wi-fi, in common with MANY other Paris hotels, but unlike other hotels they charge you for it. Which completely defeats the point (i.e. the good value) of staying in the hotel in the first place. In all a horrible hotel.- 01-Feb-2009 The room given was small but cosy and clean, and the staff generally accommodating and helpful. Would appreciate if the hand-held shower head at the bath tub could be fixed to the wall. Only real regret was being told that there was only one hairdryer for the whole hotel which was why it was not available to us during our stay as it was already with another room. Otherwise, had a pleasant stay there and would recommend it to the not overly fastidious.- 03-Dec-2008 |
