Small, but nicely decorated & modern rooms. Good location for MRT access. A bit noisy in the rooms at the front of the hotel facing the road.- 07-Sep-2005 The hotel was charming and I liked the interior design. The rooms were very clean and modern (flatscreen TV, tiny personal fridge, CD/radio alarm clock, & apparently also free Internet connection if you have your laptop), charmingly decorated, and my bed was very comfortable.
The staff were courteous and helpful, and the location seemed quite good. It''s easily accessible from the MRT (5-min. walk), and you''re located in a charming part of Chinatown, it seems. I didn''t have much time to explore, but liked the looks of the area.
As for the cons, breakfast, which was included, was pretty uninteresting.
Above all, the room was very very very small, considering the price. If you had a big suitcase with you, I''m not sure how you could even open it there. Perhaps not suited for claustrophobes and big people.- 07-Sep-2005 |
