 The room and bedding smelled strongly of stale tobacco, the paint was peeling from the woodwork, the carpet was grimy and there was not enough room to swing a dead rat on a short string. This hotel is very close to the Istanbul train line, so is also noisy. The view of the Bosphorus was great, the staff pleasant enough and the breakfast was ace - lashings of fresh fruit.
