Very disappointed to find that I had to pay £15 per day to park at the hotel. Otherwise location is great, staff frienfly and helpful, but hotel decor was bland and rather travelodge in standard, especially the horrible faux leather sofa that was incredibly uncomfortable to sit on, the bed that kept moving away from the headboard and was very uncomfortable, and rather hit-or-miss housekeeping service. Noisy too, due to lots of hen and stag parties using the hotel over the weekend. - 07-May-2009   Location extremely good to visit York...with fast efficient and friendly valet car parking available.
