we paid less for the Novotel and it was a much better place to stay. We awere given a room with 2 single beds for 3 of us, even though we had notified them of how many were staying. Staff were rude and unhelpful. We would not reccommend this hotel for anyone and we only used it as a stopover.....

I made the reservation for my 16 year-old son who was traveling alone. On arrival at the hotel the reservation person convinced him to upgrade to a more expensive room and charged an extra A$60. I consider this to be bad practice on the part of the hotel who say that they were dealing with an inexperienced travler.
