The hotel offers well-equipped conference rooms for organising your important events. During leisure, guests can visit the city attractions such as the Barrio de Les Marolles, Notre-Dame de la Chapelle, Atomium, Bellevue Museum, La Raffinerie as well as the Ixelles Museum of Fine Arts.
 The hotel is conveniently located near the Central Train station within 5 minutes walk and away from the noisy Grand Place but within walking distance. Helpful staff and spacious, clean room. Lots of personal care supplies (apart from the standards, it also offer comb, tooth brush & toothpaste, etc. in good quality) in the toilet. Almost the best in my whole journey. Weekday price better than weekend. Good value for money. Of course, even better if the price is lower.- 20-May-2007 A missing wash-basin plug is not what you expect of a four-star hotel, but the unservice I received in trying to deal with it put the hotel at the bottom of the table.
A room with a bath instead of a shower is a definite plus for brussels, but not if the outlet was blocked as it was in my case.
The room was really very average - in fact how did this hotel get four stars in teh first place? Not recommended.- 27-Nov-2006 I stayed one night only, and I'm very satisfied.
Room was clean and comfortable. Breaksfast is good - you can choose different meals and drinks. Bathroom was very well prepared and worked fine.
Location is great, though I've seen other hotels very close to the Grand Place, the heart of Brussels. The Hesperia Hotel is about 400m from it. It is very easy to reach hotel via city transport - just 10m from the metro stop!!!
I liked man and woman at reception desk. They were very polait and nice to offer information I asked.
I would add more english TV-channels (I found only one!) and make conditioning less noisy. Maybe it is okay, but I dont have that stuff at home, and can't compare to other similar equipment.
In the morning you might be waked up by Church bells melody. It is not annoying, but otherwise is peacefull and nice, and makes you feel in real historic place ;) The sound goes from the Cathedral, 150m from the hotel - another great place with a nice view to Brussels.- 11-Oct-2006 |
