 The hotel is efficiently operated and represents an excellent base in Athens.- 01-May-2008 The general location of the hotel was convenient. It was on a quiet backstreet near Syntagma Square, but the area was not very clean, and frankly, a little smelly at times. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, the room was spotless, air conditioner worked great, bed was fairly comfortable. The breakfast was OK, a little more variety would have been nice. I would, however, stay here again when in Athens. I recommend the hotel. - 28-Nov-2007 I have stayed in several 3 and 4 star hotels in Athens and would definately rate Hermes as an execllent hotel. It is very clean, modern and close to Plaka at a reasonable price. The staff were also very helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Negatives: there is no restaurant and the hotel itself is located on a not so scenic street. Overall, I would highy recommend this hotel and would definatelt stay there again.- 24-Aug-2006 |
