Hotel well situated at less that 100 m to Sky tower and 400 to downtown.
It is a very nice hotel, very warm in the decoration.
The overall service is good, the staff is very helpful and friendly. However, I've got some problem with the room service, my room has not been done on day and the day after, I have to call twice the room service before to have it done.
The hotel is very nice, but I advice customer who are looking for modern equipment (CD, washing machine...) to take a room at the tower building.- 24-May-2008 We were very happy with the service of staff as we checked in late at night with a baby and they were very helpful. The room smelt smoky (ie cigarettes). We were provided with a high chair for baby upon request. I felt it was a very family friendly hotel.
We were extremly unimpressed with the hotel restaurant where we had lunch. Despite being the only people in the restuarant (this should have served as a warning I know!!)we were given a table at the back. I had to get up and find some one to take our orders. Our meals were of poor quality especially given the cost and were not particularly appetising. The service continued to be poor with my husband eventually having to walk around to get the bill, bring it back to the table to get payment etc. I had to find a highchair and carry it myself to the table. I would not eat there again and would not reccommend eating there given that there are places with much nicer and more reasonably priced food very close by!. - 26-Sep-2007 The hotel was in the perfect location. It was near everything that we wanted ie the Skytower, centre of the city, car hire and the harbour. We didn't eat at the restuarant for brekkie or dinner but found some good cafes by the harbour that we would recommend. I often find breakfast overpriced in hotels. Go to the Muddy Farmer, next to the hotel for a drink and nice dins too! Pools, sauna etc we're all nice and clean. Service was great. Rooms very clean and spacious. - 09-Aug-2007 |
