Obviously in an old building it was clean and tidy in presentation. The receptionist who was well presented and passed on all of the relevant information without being prompted. Parking ok, managed to get a free park down the road on a side street. The room was clean, the top cover on the bed was old and faded. Large room with tea, coffee, hairdryer, ensuite. The two single beds put together wasnt so comfortable but ok. The bathroom was modern and clean. No view but it was fairly quiet and the room was free of smokey smells. We walked to town, a 10-15 minute stroll to the central area. Evening we went to a movie and dinner around the corner (Mall) - reasonably priced we thought. Had breakfast at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised at the wide selection of hot and cold foods and staff service. So, aside from wonky flooring and basic bedding the hotel was a good choice for the cost and location.- 03-Jan-2008 The hotel is little bit off from the city center (around 35 mins walk from the city center). The room is big but a little bit dark. The breakfast is good. - 28-Nov-2007 We would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable, so we slept well. Breakfast was lovely - fruit, cereals, toast, cooked breakfast and a good selection of hot and cold drinks. The hotel is in a good location. - 19-Nov-2007 |
