A very modern, clean hotel in a very central location. The nearest train station is a two minute walk away and is only two stops from the central station.
Some of the rooms are quite small and hanging space is limited but overall this is a really nice hotel which I would strongly recommend. - 16-Nov-2007 My only complaint was that the bathroom was SOOOOOOO small. The sink was tiny and the shelves ridiculous.
I loved the balcony rooms tho!- 18-Jun-2007 very idiosyncratic rooms, no two the same. Interestingly decorated. Bathrooms VERY small! Pretty good hotel but too expensive for what you get, which is pretty basic. No Wi-fi, just a direct cord, but no charge for the internet connection, either. Rooms totally soundproof! Views out the windows are of the walls of other buildings. Breakfast buffet not as good or as varied as other Swedish hotels we have stayed at. Terrible coffee -- old and boiled and burnt. However there is an espresso machine for guests to make their own in lobby, so that helped. Bookcase there with English language books left behind by other guests, very nice -- leave one you've finished and take one away to read. Location one block off main street Sveavagen near subway stop good, central, but not particularly scenic or lovely. - 06-Jun-2007 |
