 very noisy- 20-Mar-2008 It was very run down in my room. The wood flooring was worn and warped near the door. The room smelt a bit like a toilet to start off with. Having said that, the staff were nice and the bedding was cleaan and the bathroom was clean though there was no water pressure whatsoever in the shower. - 04-Mar-2008 In spite of the fact that room, sheets and towels have been reasonably clean, the strong smell of humidity inside the room was quite unpleasant. I have had to go to the supermarket accross to purchase some odour neutralizier to make it bearable.
Another annoying thing was a noise of buses, trucks and other vehicles coming from the street. If noise bothers you, ask for the room on the back (not facing the Glebe Point Rd.) I have been using earplugs.
Even so that the price is attractive adn that hotel offers good value for money, I wouldn't be staying in the same hotle again - mainly due to the smell and the noise. - 03-Mar-2008 |
