We were impressed with the friendly service of this hotel. One of our friends' birthday fell on the second night of our stay and the hotel staff gave us a pleasant surprise by providing us a birthday cake (with the birthday person's name on it!), a bottle of wine and some fruits, all free of charge, at their own initiative. We only stayed there for two nights and really didn't expect such great service from a 2-star hotel. It left us a very good deep impression of the hotel, and the hospitality industry in Hanoi in general. Keep up the good work, Hanoi Lucky Hotel!- 16-Mar-2009 The Hotel is situated in the old Quarters in a alley adjacent with other small Hotels and Hostels, which makes the whole environment very safe, warm and friendly. The single room I stayed in was large with two single beds and a view facing the alley. To my surprise, my room even had a Dell Desk Top Computer which the Hotel provided with no extra charges. I find all the staffs of the Hanoi Lucky Hotel to be very helpful during my short three days visit to Hanoi. I must say; the breakfast was good enough for what I was paying for, with a choice of Western with the lovely legendary French baguettes or Vietnamese Noodles. I would definitely recommend first time visitors to stay here for the good deal and it's walking distance to most of the shopping and sight seeing places...- 17-Oct-2008 |
