 At 31 USD for a double room, this was a great value in Guangzhou's Tienhe district, half the price of some comparable options. If the prepaid internet price remains this attractive, by all means book it. On the other hand, the staff were not as friendly and helpful at some other mid-level places in the area, for instance the [other hotel] (where I believe I paid in the mid-40s USD).
