absolutely fabulous and aesthetically - we made a six weeks trip through Mexico and this was, followed by the train el chepe (and hotel posada barrancas mirador..) definetely the place i liked most because of its generous and amable atmosphere. a very very beautiful hacienda - every corner shows so much love for the detail and is in perfect harmony, with a wonderful pool and little spa -> excellent facials and maya massage! rather romantic with the ruins.. it really is an intimate and charming place to stay. we spent one very hot august day in Campeche and were so happy to get out of the town and rest and relax a couple of days in this little paradise. i liked also very much that the group running the haciendas seems to care and do a lot for the locals. i found the staff especially in the restaurant extremely well trained and above all so cordially, it was very pleasant to deal with them!
