 The room has a good size and is clean, the staff is helpful (we needed some information that was only available through the internet and they search for it and deliver it very quickly), and the breakfast has a lot to choose from, but THE BEST is the location: right in front of the Marques de Pombal Tube Station (Metro), which is very centrical and safe. we came back at midnight by tube without any problem. Only one thing: after midnight you wont get any food from the hotel as not even room service is available.- 05-Apr-2008 Very good hotel, very calm (even if the traffic outside is quite heavy). The breakfast was very rich, the service very helpful and knowledgeable. The twin room was quite small, but very clean and well equipped (but missing a chair).
The hotel Fenix is situated directly at a Metro station, nearby are several bus stops. Going by taxi to the city is also a very good and cheap option.

The only remark I'll do is the internet buisness room: for the price you could expect a good connection on a fully updated pc, but in fact the connectiondrops every 10 minutes forcing you to reenter tat 12 character passcode from the scratch card. - 07-Oct-2007 |
