 The hotel came with several recommendations so it made for an easy choice. The warm welcome - didn't happen. No one even offered to carry our luggage to the room! No mini bar available! If you end up on the first floor and it is a weekend be prepared not to sleep until after midnight as it is noisy. Information on what to see in Bahrain from the main desk - not helpful. Swimming pool was cold. No where to go for a pleasant alcoholic drink! - 19-Mar-2008 Excellent location right in the heart of the city. A bit tired decor wise, so a few cigarette burns in carpets etc, but it was very cheap.
Breakfast was reasonable, so for a budget stay it was fine- 10-Mar-2008 Very little facilities in the room: ie tea/coffee making facilities no access to internet from room.
Close to Gold City and Diggers is not for taking wives/girlfriends.
