 The location of the Hotel is excellent and in close proximity of the Train Station and good eating places. The staff is very courteous, speak English quite well and are very helpful. Value for Money ! The Shamian Island is a very serene place. You are in the city and at the same time you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city.- 15-Jun-2008 The hotel is good located for sightseeing. The only disadvantage is that it is not directly located at the river side and there is now river view from the hotel.- 31-Mar-2008 I was out most of the time so did not avail myself of many of the facilities apart from a sandwich in the restaurant and using the internet. Whilst the rate for staying in the hotel was very reasonable the charges for the above was high. Beware of the service charges in the restaurant and the whopping 30% if you order via room service. 10 RMB to print one piece of paper was also way over the top. Besides this, the hotel was clean, comfortable, ideally located and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would certainly stay there again. - 19-Nov-2007 |
