 After trying in vain to get a hotel in Tarifa over a bank holiday, we decided to go for this hotel in Algeciras, with the idea of driving to Tarifa for the day. We were very pleasantly surprised. The welcome was super and the rooms very comfortable. The location suited us as we were able to do some shopping at a nearby factory outlet and it took us around half an hour to reach Tarifa. On our first night, we ate in the hotel restaurant, which was expensive and not very good. Although the waiters were very pleasant, we were left with very poor service as the hotel had 3 other functions on that evening. The next night we stayed in the bar and had a selection of tapas which was cheaper and better! The pool was closed but the gardens are pleasant with a small childrenīs area which my three year old daughter enjoyed. We would definately consider going back for a short stay. - 12-May-2007 |
