The hotel was v central so much easier to see everything esp if coming to dublin for the first time.Staff on reception varied from helpful to just about cooperative but the older concierge was fantastic-a lovely helpful guy.Rooms were cleaned well, except carpets not hoovered every day.Room service/housekeeping were quite efficient at bringing supplies that werent in the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again. 9/10 from us. Mr&Mrs Dr H, UK.- 05-Jul-2007 Room was very small, difficult to sit at desk due to proximity of bed.
There were big queues to get into the breakfast room and queues again once inside. It seems that the hotel is not able to cope when full. Lift was out of order one morning.
For me it was definitely not 4 star.
One positive point was the free wifi access in the room. - 03-Apr-2007 The room was very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. It was extremely small and decoration was very basic with no touch of luxury. No literature on the hotel and its facilities was provided in the room. Attention also needs to be paid to the general maintenance of the facilities in the bathroom. If I had paid full rate for this room, I would consider it very bad value for money. - 26-Mar-2007 |
