Grau Roig is an Andorran recreational center in the Pyrenees Mountains between Spain and France. Grau Roig rests in Andorra’s Encamp parish. It is the only town in Andorra without year round residents. Grau Roig is a popular base camp for ski enthusiasts exploring the slopes between Pas de la Casa (to the east) and the Village of Encamp (to the west). Grau Roig’s location, in the center of the Pas del la Casa – Grau Roig ski resort is immensely convent for skiers wishing to explore Andorra’s largest array of ski slopes.
The Adventure Activities Centre of Grandvallra is at the heart of Grau Roig. It offers snowshoe walks, snowmobile and dog-sleigh tours, helicopter flights and paintball games played in the snow. Visitors can travel to nearby Pas de la Casa to enjoy an intense nightlife scene, or they can use Andorran public transport to travel to other Andorran towns, enjoying shopping, food, and heritage destinations.
