We stayed for four nights and found the location absolutely ideal. We walked into the city one day and found it took about 45 minutes all up and at other times we used the tube which was just a short walk away. The room itself was nicely decorated and clean however it was extremely small. The bed however was very comfortable. All up we had a great stay and would use it again. - 25-Apr-2008 The room was extremely small and the breakfast overpriced. I was appalled to have to pay £1 to use the computer in reception, not becasue of the cost but because it gave the impression just how penny pinching the organisation was. We were also disappointed that the restaurant was closed on Saturday night, although there were plenty of other places to eat, it seemed an odd decision for such a hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels for work, and found these things rather petty. However, we did enjoy our stay.- 31-Jan-2008 As adevertised there was only parking in the streets near the hotel. All spaces were for permit holders only and when I asked about the parking restrictions around the hotel the answers from the reception were vague and proved to be inaccurate when I checked with the police - be careful! Furnishings were good for the discounted price but we were placed in a room in the basement and below the 24-hour reception and so you could hear footsteps through the night. We were also woken at 3am by people in the corridors as the rooms are not very soundproof. We were not asked when we left if we had a pleasant stay!- 24-Jan-2008 |
