 The location of Grand Hyatt is indeed excellent. eespecially after seeing how remote the other 5-star hotels were afterwards! Grand Hyatt is located in a posh area in Jakarta.The shopping malls are just within door steps.
The hotel concierge did a great job at restaurant recommendation. I was being directed to an excellent Indonesian restaurant, where the food and ambience were totally impressive!Though I wish the staffs at concierge would be as friendly as the doormen!
I enjoyed both the hotel swimming pool and spa. The massage service and price were great!
The slight disappointment for me was the bath. I do not know if it was not in use for a long time or whatever reason. There were some black little pieces came out from the water even I kept running it for more than 5mins. That was a bit scary when I first saw that indeed!
All in all, the best thing about Grand Hyatt Jakarta is still its unbeatable location. - 05-Jun-2009 I got this hotel from the hotel club at an excellent rate, 175 USD per night. The hotel has a fabulous lobby that will make you feel happy the moment you enter. Stepping into your room will even make you happier because of the spacious room and the modern interior. The toilet itself is like another room. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is situated beside Plaza Indonesia. Loved the hotel, loved the shopping.
