 Old and out dated room (3 1/2 star), lobby is beautful. - 04-May-2009 service is very impressive, facility are good- 16-Feb-2009 I found the Grand Hotel Taipei to be a beautiful hotel whose architecture and lobby truly gave one a taste of being in China. While the economy rooms were a bit small, it didn't matter if, as was the case for me, it were just a place to lay your head for the night while touring around the city. The more expensive view rooms were nicer and would have been worth the upgrade if I had spent more time at the hotel. While the location initially seemed to be a problem, once I discovered the shuttle bus to the MRT I found it to be quite convenient and a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of being in town.- 12-Aug-2008 |
