 The hotel was very nice. Rooms were spacious, included a jacuzzi tub and I think all the rooms had balconies overlooking the water wtih beautiful views of Amalfi and the sea. Note, the hotel is up the mountain from Amalfi and very close to Pegerola. The hotel did offer a shuttle service to go down to the town of Amalfi and they had free parking at the hotel if you have a car. Access to a private beach for a fee, but we didn't go so I'm not certain what it is like. They allowed you to have free access to the Internet at reception and the staff very very helpful/friendly. Overall we had a great stay here.- 10-Aug-2007 Great hotel, very friendly and accomodating staff. There is a great pool, amazing views and while the rooms are small they are clean. This hotel is up the top of the hill so you need to get the hotel shuttle to get down to the main area. This takes about 15 minutes. The hotel staff explain this really well on arrival but we have some confusion as to how to get to the hotel before we checked in. Look for the hotel shuttle. It comes near the taxi stand. Don't be fooled into paying 25 euro to get up the hill!- 08-Aug-2007 |
