 Bit of a walk to town but well worth it.
Near a dodgy district but isn't a problem unless out after dark.
Great buffet breakfast and friendly staff made it a good stay.- 04-Apr-2008 Our room for two persons was small and the floor was leaning and the bed was very hard. The second room for three persons had better beds and of course it was bigger. But we appreciate that is was very clean and the breakfast was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. It was 1 minute to go to the metro and it was good restuarants in the neighbourhood.- 22-Feb-2008 Positives: location - very close to two major railway stations - Gare de Nord (my reason for choosing this hotel) and Gare de E??; centrally located to many Paris attractions; breakfast was included in our package and was of a better standard than the rest of the hotel.
Negatives: poor quality facilities with worn floor coverings; no proper door on the bathroom which was also very 'tired'; maybe not the 'best' area of Paris to be walking around at night; smallest lift I have ever encountered - maximum 2 people with one small bag each.
Our room was on the top (sixth) floor and at the back which meant most of the street noise was lost. I would imagine a room lower down and facing the street front would be very noisy.- 30-Jan-2008 |
