Slightly outdated hotel, but clean and well maintained, with friendly staff. Slightly small rooms, but sufficient. Comfortable firm beds. Good situation in well communicated area, with quick access to Madrid's excellent public transport system (underground, buses and Renfe's commuter trains). It's a safe bet.- 12-Jun-2009 The breakfast was not too good. Needed Grapefruit, prunes, peaches etc. Also the only bread was toast or hard hard rolls.
The Waiters could also SMILE.- 16-May-2008 Not far from a shopping area, or from Bernabeu Stadium. 15 mins to Metro which goes direct to airport. Hotel itself okay, though building work began without any warning in the room directly next to mine at around 8-30am, making it impossible to stay in the room itself. I wasn't impressed - the hotel isn't so cheap that it can expect clients to pay and then make their room unbearable through building work noise right next door. Only 2 English channels on TV - CNN and Eurosport, but couldn't get picture on CNN. Wireless internet was also rather more expensive to use than either of the other 2 hotels I stayed in whilst in Madrid. Found reception staff a little pompous also. Quite a decent breakfast. Okay overall, though would look at other hotels next time - this was the 3rd best out of the 3 I experienced in the city.- 08-Apr-2008 |
